When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Punxsutawney and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter. Okay, maybe this winter won't be as long as Bill Murray's was in Groundhog's day but DANG! June is coming to a close and be have only broke 70 degrees a hand full of times. Got Popeye III cleaned up and ready for Spring.. and now it's officially Summer!! Oh well, guess we'll just have to sail later into Fall this year. I've had a couple of GREAT Motorcycle rides this year, cool and sometimes wet, but really great rides in some country that I have really wanted to explore.
